Most trekkers cross Larke Pass and continue down towards Annapurna, but a quieter trail leads to one of the hidden corners of the Manaslu region — Larke Blue Lake. Surrounded by glaciers, ice walls and untouched alpine terrain, the lake sits beneath the giant mountains of the upper valley. The route combines traditional villages, remote yak pastures and dramatic Himalayan scenery without the crowds found on more famous trails.
