Krishna Lal Tamang

Since 2010, one rule has never changed — respect first, always.

Krishna has been on Nepal's trails since 2010, and if you ask past trekkers what stands out, it's rarely the mountains they mention first it's how looked-after they felt. Respect, hospitality, and taking full responsibility for the group are what he brings to every trek he leads.

Krishna has been on Nepal's trails since 2010, and if you ask past trekkers what stands out, it's rarely the mountains they mention first it's how looked-after they felt. Respect, hospitality, and taking full responsibility for the group are what he brings to every trek he leads.

Over 15 years, Krishna has built his approach to guiding around a simple idea: trekkers are guests first. That shapes everything from how he greets a group on day one to how he checks in on them at the end of a hard climb always with the same warmth, whether it's someone's first trek or their fifth with him.

After more than fifteen years on the same trails, Krishna could easily go through the motions but guests say the opposite is true. Each trek still gets his full attention, from the smallest logistics to the biggest safety calls, because for Krishna, hospitality was never about the years put in. It's about how every single guest is treated, every single time.
