What our trekkers say

★★★★★

We booked our Manaslu trek only three weeks ahead, and I honestly wasn’t sure if everything could be arranged in time. They managed the restricted permits without any issues, and the pricing was clear from the start with no hidden costs. The teahouses they picked were also some of the best we stayed in along the way. It made the whole trip so much easier.

I booked my Manaslu trek just three weeks before the trip, so I was worried the permits might be difficult to arrange. They handled everything in time and kept me updated throughout. The pricing was clear with no surprise costs, and the teahouses they chose were great in every village. It made the whole trek feel easy and stress-free.

I travelled solo, but never once felt alone. From the airport pickup to our last dal bhat together, I felt genuinely looked after. The Poon Hill sunrise, staying with a family in Ghandruk, and having a guide who became a friend made the trip so special. I’m already planning my next trek to Gokyo.

You could really tell that Mingma grew up in the valley. Everywhere we went, lodge owners knew him and welcomed him like an old friend. Knowing that our trek was also supporting local families rebuilding after the 2015 earthquake made the whole experience feel even more meaningful.

Watching the sunrise over Thorong La was honestly one of the best days I’ve ever had in the mountains. Krishna kept us moving at just the right pace, and somehow everything came together perfectly. Sixteen days on the trail, no stress with the logistics, plenty of dal bhat, and memories I’ll never forget.

We were set on doing the classic EBC trek, but Rajan suggested Gokyo instead. I was a little unsure at first, but I’m so glad we listened to him. The quiet trails, beautiful turquoise lakes, and those amazing Everest views made it such a special trip. It felt much more personal and peaceful than we expected.

It was my first trek, and Sarita made the whole experience feel safe and comfortable. She guided me through every ridge and encouraged me when things got tough. Five days surrounded by blooming rhododendrons, and I came home feeling like a real trekker.

Choosing the Right Season for Your Trip to Nepal

The best time to visit Nepal depends on your plans. Spring brings flowers and pleasant trekking weather, autumn offers clear mountain views, monsoon suits rain-shadow regions like Upper Mustang, and winter brings quieter trails and crisp skies.

Questions, answered

Everything trekkers usually ask before booking. Anything else — our Thamel office replies within 24 hours.

Ask Us Directly

If you can comfortably hike 5–6 hours with a daypack, you can trek in Nepal. For high routes (EBC, circuits), add 2–3 months of cardio preparation. We grade every trek honestly and will tell you straight if a route does not fit.

Buy: broken-in boots, base layers, and anything touching your skin. Rent or borrow in Thamel: down jacket, sleeping bag, poles — a few dollars a day. We provide a free duffel, sleeping bag and down jacket on our packages.

Visa on arrival at Kathmandu airport for most nationalities: 15 / 30 / 90 days (US$ 30 / 50 / 125). Bring a passport photo and USD cash to skip the machine queues. We send a full arrival checklist before you fly.

Autumn (Sep–Nov) for stable weather and the sharpest views; spring (Mar–May) for rhododendron bloom and climbing season. Winter suits lower treks; monsoon suits the rain-shadow zones of Mustang and Dolpo.

Gradual itineraries with built-in acclimatisation days, daily pulse-oximeter checks above 3,000 m, guides trained to spot early AMS symptoms, and a firm rule: no summit is worth a life. Descent is always an option, never a failure.

Guides carry first-aid kits and a communication plan for every valley. If evacuation is needed, our Kathmandu office coordinates the helicopter with your insurer — which is why insurance covering trekking to your route's altitude is mandatory.
